The main thing I remember was that to use it "off camera" without a cord, you must set that option while it is ON the camera and THEN take the flash off. Setting it to that option while it's already off the camera doesn't work. The manual wasn't very clear about that (at least, to me). I don't use my SB-80DX very often but if you run into problems using yours, ask and I'll see whether I know or can figure it out. |
