Wonder about the programming nightmare it might be to allow limited comments with the weekly poll on the front page to further clarify the poll votes.
For instance, with this week's poll about nudity -- I have no objection to tasteful, artistic nudes, but who's to say what "tasteful" and "artistic" really are? So, while I say nudes are OK in a limited sense, I think in terms of the site it may just be easier to say "No nudes..." and avoid any problems.
