Sorry about the duplication of forum topics, but my other subject wasn't as describptive as it needed to be. I missed the deadline for candy and weather after getting home Monday instead of Sunday night.

I really didn't have a good weather entry (clear skies with no wind does not an interesting weather photo make!!)

Anyway, here is the entry I was going to use for candy and I thought it was one of my better shots lately. Would really appreciate some numbers and comments from anyone that would be nice enough to take some time to do so.

LOL i like it but IMO it would have been better with a deeper background colour......7

im with hoogie. looks like a lot of humor potential but maybe not quite so bright and white of a background would help 'set the scene' a little better.

also maybe a little lower looking up at the big one from the perspective of the 'kids'?

just some ideas ..........

thanks, I was thinking of soft shadow and not contrast when I used that background. The title didn't come until I shot some different scenarios with the big and little eggs.

It has some obvious humor value and it is a clear, clean, well cropped/framed/composed shot. That said, it doesn't really have much pull for me. Nothing about it really makes me want to go back to see it again. So by no means would I say it's a bad shot.. I think the concept just has a limited amount of appeal for me since I tend not to be a bright happy fun photo kinda guy (which my portfolio can attest to). With all that said I'd probably give it a 5 or 6.

Well, I checked your portfolio and happy and light it is not!! I appreciate the comments, though. Silly and happy keeps me from feeling like you look in your bio shot!!

hi kandyi, i like the concpet/idea, its so simple but its beautiful...the composition is good and i like the "humour" touch of it. The image is a bright and i suggest a darker background.

how about 7? good work.
