I usually seal my photos with a UV protectant matte finishing spray, but I have some photos that the person wants a glossy finish and I was wondering if anyone has used any glossy sprays and if you did, did you have problems with runs or blisters? Also I would appreciate any suggestions on what kind of glossy finishing spray to use.

I am much interested in this also. Considering I live in a fairly small town, and not much in the area of photo stores, what is everyones trusted product? Matte and glossy. I have looked around on the internet and seen a few, but have not taken a leap at one yet.
Most or the prints I have done previously, I used a very fine Ultra hold hairspray (my Mom is a beautician), and it works well enough for giving pictures to friends and family and to have some protection on them. But do want a more "permanent" solution, especially after I decide which 13"+ printer I decide on (and have the money) (C: thanks

I use Krylon's UV Protectant Finishing Spray on the photos I print out, and I print on a semi gloss satin finished paper most frequently. I give it two light coats. I end up with a finished photo that has the appearence of luster finish. But like I said I need suggestions for glossy finish, every time I tried a glossy finish I end up with either running or blistering.

I use Lacquermat Pearl spray with UV protector built in. The coating is very thin, dries in a few minutes, and is washable. The only difference in appearance is a slight increase in contrast and in saturation of colors. This lacquer is the least obnoxious smelling of all the sprays, but you must do it outside or in a spray booth.
