Hehe. I do that all the time too. :)
I also forget my compactflash card after getting settled into shooting... and after driving half an hour to get to the spot. :) oops.

I do that one all the time.......or take a whole day's worth of pictures without realizing you're still set on ISO 1600 from the night before.
Leaving the lens cap on....
Or someone else that you dont know leaves it on...You dont want to be mean, act like a know it all, or to hurt someones feelings you kind of chuckle cause its cute (been there and you know all do it) you speakup to say "excuse me, your lense cap is on" :)
Go out one Saturday and take about 200 pictures. Some that I though would be great. Got home and I didn't have the CF-Card in the camera. 200 clicks, NO PICTURES!.....
EDIT: BTW I have since set the camera not to take pictures w/o the CF-Card.
