I didn't enter -- looking over the entries, I had a TOTALLY different understanding of the rules. I thought the photo had to have at least one rock, one paper and one scissors, not at least one of the three (i.e. just rock, just paper, etc).
It has been my experience that early voters are low voters. You'll get some creep upward by the 2nd or 3rd day. Why is this? Maybe the ones who stay up late are those that are anxious about their own photo's status and tend to vote other photos more harshly?

I did enter, and that's how I interpreted the rules too. Of course, I have an extremely low score and this could be my lowest to date.
I can't imagine how this could have been clearer, yet my score so far is showing that people are looking for the missing paper and scissors?????????

Unbelievable 4.7 for one of my best shots. I am a fairly harsh critic, especially when it comes to my own shots. This truely is one of my best. Ugh.

I can't speak for the others but I'm always up at rollover and I always do a "sorting vote" of 100% of the images before I call it a night. So my voting average on first night is artificially low, anhd if you have a really nice image the odds are good you're going to get bumped up by me in the next week.
I knew what the rules said, but I figured most people will be expecting to see something with each - as I was. Sure there are some great photos of gorgeous subjects and, oh yeah, there's a rock down there in the corner. That stuff turns me off.
