Again, no problem. The site says that it may take up to 20% of the sale, but at the moment it doesn't. So I got 100% of the sale (minus PayPal's slice).

Ooooh,,OUCH!! DOn't want to rain on your parade, but...you sold it as royalty free? So the person/company that bought a license gets to use it forever and ever for $69.95, in almost any type of situation they like or fee?. You get paid for it once.

It is great that you have sold something and are now a bonified professional!! Happy for that, but I think ya got screwed, because that is a great pic. Don't be surprised to see it around...alot! But, that could be good too, as long as you are credited for it. may want to check that too. Good Work!

Thanks for the compliment on the shot. I realise that I've sold the shot royalty-free and the implications of that. Frankly, at the moment, I'm happy to sell anything to anyone, at any price (almost :-)
For me, this is a way of putting a toe in the water. The site costs nothing to post on and is very easy to use. If I see the shot around, that'll be great. And if I start to sell more stuff, I can always withdraw my shots from the site or work out how to get more for them.
That is great then. You are able to take them down...that is a good thing. and I guess it can be a great learning experience. And now you need to find out where it is published, etc., so you can put that on a resume!!!
