The MS walk is at South Streat Seaport at 11:00 AM. I'm assuming most of you didn't know this. I tried calling you, CeeDeez, to see if we're still all getting together. Channel 4 news is there - no doubt along with other news crews. There's no way in heck I'd ever make it down there with all of the traffic. And with all of the congestion of thousands of people there to participate, I'd never find you guys. So....I'll wait to see you all at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden on the 30th.
I just got back from the GTG and so sorry you missed it. It was a nice group of ten and the MS March started and cleared out just after we all started to arrive so it didn't cause too much of a problem.

I had a great time. It's always cool to put faces to the internet personalities that you engage with so often. I have so few people to share with one the topic of photography outside of these forums it is so exciting for me to get out there and exchange with others who are as into this as I've been over the last few years.
I learned so much today it was a real treat. Everyone was so nice that I'll have to thank them all personally for such a great day.
Manic took somewhere between 800-10,000 shots (most within the last hour that I was there)so he should be posting some really fun stuff soon. He has quite the devilish eye...should be interesting.
Im sorry I missed this G2g. I had some PC trouble yesterday, my whole CPU blew up. kind of put me in a bad mood and I had to piece together another computer from old parts and I finally got it together. I just dont have any USB ports. So no challenges for me. I will be stepping away from posting photos for a while..untill I get my new PC fixed. Wish I could of joined you guys, well next time I guess
Sorry too that you weren't there. I was looking forward to chatting about the long exposure stuff you do. I tried one shot last night in Brooklyn, of an old warehouse, on a very dark street and there was still too much ambient light to get the cool colors and general effect of the style.
Hope your computer problems don't ruin your life. If mine crashed I would jump out a window. Well, probably not but I would give it some serious consideration. No computer access....unthinkable!
im running my old one now..its slow as hell, and yes I did consider jumping off of a bridge for a little while. lol...ill be back, this old pc is useless, but it gives me the chance to vote and comment on challenges~! Well, I've managed to get one of the 575 photos processed and uploaded :o)
It's only a PaD shot, since I've no where near enough time to start working on a full album of the GTG shots - there's a queue of 3000+ to work through first ;o)
I had a great time today, and it was cool meeting you all! Definitely wish I could be around for the meet on the 30th, but I can't afford to stay stateside for that long :o/ It's always fascinating to go shooting with other people, as everyone has different styles, and see different things in the same places.
Oh, I hate to think how many photos we've got of just each other, and I'm sure there's plenty of blackmai...I mean outtakes we don't want to see online ;o) Nick, I'll PM you once I've processed the shots (probably a week or two), so you can choose which ones you want the originals for... unless you want all of the shots of you, which will probably add up to at least 100mb...
