I like taken picture bit far from my backyard, what is in my picture is a part of it, and for who don't understand it, I really don't care and who understand my presentation is a bonus to me. I take picture for me and I am creating my personal style. I do not take picture for others.
I'm assuming someone was asking why you took a photo the way you did or in the place that you did, and you're posting this to explain to them? I think most of the "???" are due to the language barrier. Ignore them. It's natural, and self-centered of us english-as-a-first-language speakers to assume everyone else can speak it fluently.
Anyway, you should take photos for yourself and no one else. Keep doing what makes you happy.

Edit: I feel really bad that that was mis-taken. I was including myself in that, saying "us english-as-a-first-language speakers". I've just seen a lot of people on forums get made fun of or disregarded as irrelevant because their posts don't exactly make sense due to the language barrier. So I tried to rectify that in this thread, by trying to make sense of it and respond. I apologize if i offended anyone. I hate doing that. In fact, that was the opposite of my point :(

that is my biggest problem landscape photography. i have a nikon 5700, is it impossible to get a good landscape scene with this camera? am i doing to low iso settings? my shots are all so bland and have no punch. how do you capture the breath taking view? this question is for anyone who can answer

Iso is not so important..generally sunrise or sunset times. use a polarizer filter. small aperture (high F stop number). use a tripod. use a wide angle lens. then in PS up the saturation and sharpness.
right now, as i look out my window, my less than attractive back yard looks 1/2 decent - it is about 10 minutes to sunset. it is also about 22 degrees...so i am staying in.
