i didn't submit this one because i couldn't stand the bland background (and wasn't crazy about the lighting job i did either) so i did a photo with more of a background and no one liked it but me and i still get a giggle out of it so it was worth it...i DID get one ten LOL!!! ;o) and not as many 1's as i thought i would.....but of course, now i'm curious about how this one would have done if i'd submitted it instead...

Can't see your outtake but...

I would have voted your entry around 4 or 4, if I were not on holiday. I think the background it a bit too prominent and distracts a bit from the focal point.

I like the tea party shot much better. The background on the one you submitted was too much for the photo.
