What if one adds a photo to their wishlist, and the photo they are adding belongs to a person that is not a member? Will that person be informed somehow that their photo is on a wishlist, and that maybe they should upgrade to a membership so that they can possibly sell it? Or will the wish just float away into cyber oblivion?
I'm probably not the sharpest crayon in the box, but I can't see how to add a dpchallenge photo to one's wishlist anywhere.
My impression of how things would work was that I'd see a photo from a challenge that I like, add it to my wishlist, and the photographer would be notified, so that s/he could possibly upload a hi-res version for printing to dpcprints. Is this how it's supposed to work?
Like bod says, every voting page has an Add to Withlist link, and all images pages will soon too.
There is no automation in the system yet to email folks that people are requesting their prints or to tell people that prints are available. This is on the to-do list.
Ah, I understand. Since I haven't been able to submit for a while, I don't think any of my photos could possibly be on anyone's wishlist, but is there someplace we can go to see which of our photos are indeed on a wishlist?
I would love to be able to see a 'Print Available' link on the 'My Favourites' page under the relevant thumbnails, these are after all the shots that people are most likely to buy.
