You went to Russia and made it back with your camera? I've heard such bad things about getting robbed there. If I ever talk my boyfriend into going, I think I might have to use film just because I'm so paranoid. We did make it through several days in Prague without getting robbed though! OK... someone took a bottle of soda out of our backpack, but it was already half gone.

Indi it was my biggest worry the whole time. Before the trip I was considering even getting some kind of extra insurance for my camera gear. But as it turned out it was all okay, there was no problem. Although in some of the slum areas I went to my camera was attracting a few strange looks. I think it also makes a difference if you go to a country like that as a tourist or not. It helped a lot having relatives living there and them being around me most of the time.
