It's really hard to control white balance in the snow, so you might want to separate the snow from the rest of the shot when editing these photos (but not the otter one, which came out perfect). I think some of the images could use more contrast, but that might leave the snow looking blown out, so if you edit them separately you might have a better chance of getting the look you want. Still, these are really nice zoo shots - thanks for sharing them . :-)
Thanks for all the comments. I tried extracting the zebras in photoshop 6 (still can't afford CS), but the stripes are driving me crazy! I'll try again later but if anyone has any ideas...
My only advice that pretty much applies to most/all of these shots would be to get closer. I know it's hard at the zoo, but filling the frame would help the composition of a lot of these.
