it was a very very hot day to decide to go walking. I have to say bush walking gives me the creeps. Lots of webs and when we were walking the grass next to me was rustling. LOL. I get freaked out very easily. Arent i a sook. :o)
I tend to read a book by the river at lunchtime. For the past couple of weeks or so there has been a lot of rustling in the leaves behind me.
One day last week I looked up from my book and this woman who had been walking past had stopped and was just standing looking at me. Hello, check your flies. When I found them closed I came to the obvious conclusion that, my animal magnetism was finally working!
Nope, she was looking at the bearded dragon that was sitting about a foot from my head, he was about 2 feet long.
He seems to have got used to me now and happily wanders around me within a couple of feet while I lay on the grass and read my book.
