As I have been viewing and commenting on this week's challenge photos, I have been reminded of a lesson in photogrpahy that I learned fairly recently.
There is a compositional element of photographing children (and childhood oriented subjects) that can sometimes make a major improvement in the impact of a photo.
It's all in the angle of the shot. If you are an adult photographing a child, your nautral instinct, since you are larger, may be to stand up and point the camera down at your subject. If you get down on the level of the child and shoot straight on or even at a slightly elevated angle, the mood of the photo can change drastically, and often for the better :)
