This is one of my favorite photos, not just because it got a ribbon, but because it's my fathers favorite as well. Rocky Creek Because of the aspect ratio, the only size print I can get out of it is a 5 x 7. Actually, that's not bad but, I was wondering your opinion on squishing the photo, making it shorter and wider without cropping it, so that I can get an 8 x 10 print and 16 x 20 out of it. Does it take away the appeal of the photo? Fattened up Thanks.
You have to crop very little of that image to get it to a 1.25:1 ratio. Experimenting in photoshop, cropping from the top-down took nothing away from the appeal of the photo (in my opinion). I definitely liked it better than your 'fattened up' version.
