Does anyone know of a feature on the Canon Rebel that enables you to create a double exposure? I thought I remembered someone saying something about it.
There is no way to make double exposures with any digital cameras to my knowledge. The easy solution is to do some Photoshop work, which is basically the same anyway as making a double exposure.
One thing youc an do is lock the shutter open in a dark room, use strobe, and place a lens cap on the lens between exposures, each of which is accomplished by strobe.
You can paint with light this way at night, also; light a specific area, cap the lens, light another area, reveal, recap, light a third area, etc etc.

Some Fuji cameras allow for multiple exposures.
Not really double exposure, but some Oplympus cameras allow to put two successive pictures into a single file (valid for challenges)

Not exactly true.
In the nikon coolpix 4500 there's a built option for double exposure.
It does not creat such clean photos as we saw in this site, but it is technically possible. So there must bu such option in better cameras then that!
The option simply lets you shoot twice on the same file. Haven't really tried it yet, but I know it exist.

DSLRs typically (I would say all, but someone would inevitably come up with a counterexample) don't support this feature. That's because combining in post-processing is far more flexible and yields better results. As laready posted, there in-camera work-arounds that are DPC-legal.
As previously posted, a few consumer digicams do support this. Where done in-camera, it is certainly legal for challenges, both basic and advanced.
The S20 is pretty much the same as the S7000 except the S20 has firewire for camera control on the computer and there a few other improvements so if you can do double exposures so can i but evertime i do it i dont use a black background and they dont come out right i guess pratice makes perfect...
