On January 29th Otis Smudge in McKinney, TX. where I will be selling/displaying my photos, is having an open house / meet the artists night. The more people I bring in and sign the guest book, will possibly get me a free months rent. So if you're in the Dallas metro area, and would like to come on out, I sure would appreciate it.

She is having surgery on her right foot.
We are hoping to get it taken care of so when we go back to the Canyons this year we can hike some of the shorter trails.
But you know how any surgery can make people very nervous.
I'm waiting for her to come out into recovery now.

I have a nephew that lives in Mckinny. I'm going to tell them a close personal friend is having a show and maybe they'll show up. All I ask is that you tell them you worship me and I taught you everything you know. ;)

The Otis Smudge Gallery invites you to "Meet the Artists". This event will give you an opportunity to view the work of over 20 local, national and international artists. Many will be on hand to discuss their work and answer questions. We have restocked the gallery with new artists, new merchandise and new concepts, so please join us for an evening of wine, art and fun.
Our son's girlfriend came up from Austin and we had to leave at 3:30am to take her to DFW Airport. She had to be there around 4:30am. She left for El Salvador to visit a friend working in the Peace Corp. We then came home and went to bed.
We had to reschedule our Satellite install to Saturday afternoon. We switched from Dish Network to Direct TV with 2 Tivo units. And the installer did not show until late afternoon.
To top it off I had to take my old GMC Jimmy over for servicing. We probably will have to find a mechanic/garage to repair it. We think a rod or bearing may be going in it.

It wasn't my fault! Really, it wasn't! An old friend came in out of town! The car ran out of gas! I got a flat tire! I didn't have enough money for cab fare! The tux didn't come back from the cleaners! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn't my fault I swear to God!!!

I guess I should share those with y'all, shouldn't I? LOL
Danny's work is hanging in the very front of the gallery, which is awesome because you can see it from the streets. I didn't get many good shots because the place was PACKED with people (I had to drive around a long time just to find a parking place), but here are some from inside and outside to give you an idea of what they look like in the gallery. Overall, I think it's fabulous exposure for a very talented photographer. I hope you sell every one of them!!!! :o)

Must have felt great to see your work on display in that kind of arena and to watch people admiring it.
