We had some snow too, just enough to snarl traffic and cancel the game I was going to go to tonight. Good on ya for getting out to shoot in it. The dog shot is cool, looks like they were enjoying the snow too.
You just get better and better all the time. I love the dogs, and the trees are right up my alley of what I always adore. I hate to hear what is going to happen, though.
I love the dog picture too. That capture does lend a phrenetic urgency to the image. Would have gotten a high score in the breaking new grounds challenge. At least from me.

I love the dog shot too. But if I were going to crop it I would have pulled more off the bottom then the top. The dark along the top edge gives the image a strong border and even wthout the dark the composition would be stronger with the dogs placed lower. I didn't see that much wrong with the original.

What about them? There is nothing to them. Perhaps I am jaded as I spend 5 days a week in the woods down here, but I don't see anything but an ordinary treeline.

I really like the original of Extreme Urgency. Way to capture abstract action! Also, very interesting lighting in Awaiting Suburbia (Summer). Kind of sad to hear about "them" building 284 units on the land.
