I created a photo a day display template for myself, thought i'd share. it's a 20x16 file at 300dpi (6000x4800 pixels). The text can and should be changed to a font you like. Each image should be 320x214. There's no border between images ... they all just mash together. (make sure the guides are viewable in photoshop)

yes, i thought of that, but what color would the border(space) be? if black, then black images are going to look bigger than others .... and if white, then white images are going to look too big.

Pick a colour that won't come up...how about neon green?
