I wanted to let you know that the majority of Southern California is doing just fine. We had lots of rain, some areas had lots of snow, but overall, most of the region is just wet (not destroyed as the news would have you believe). Many people back East are worried, but I can assure all of you that only certain areas were hit with mudslides and flooding, not the entire Southland. If you are going to worry about something, SE Asia needs some support and well-wishes. Cali is doing ok.
I had a little trouble getting to work with some trees down and mud flow off the mountains in the Pasadena foothills, but nothing ridiculous.
Today is back to blue skies for most of Southern Cali. But, for those tragic incidents that did occur in Ventura, Malibu and a few other places, I am terribly saddened by the loss of life and disaster that happened.
I was just wondering about that,I'll be down in the Pasadena foothills this weekend, LaCanada. Good thing I have a rental car, I may concider the extra insurance this time.
I drove through La Canada yesterday... it was a bit muddy, but nothing scary. It's really not bad here at all. I am not sure where you are from or what you are used to though.

Just make sure you know how to drive on wet roads, but they should be dry by the weekend! It's bright, blue and beautiful today!!!

I'm in Orange County (Huntington Beach), and I'm checking in. Just fine here. We did get very wet, and my lawn hasn't been mowed in quite some time due to sickness and then rain, but looks like I'll be able to get to it this weekend.

You silly Cali people... Bah it's just some snow, and mudslides. Hah the forest fires didn't even reach the coast this tiiiimme. Ooops sorry about the typo silly earth quake moved my keyboard. .... You Cali people are nuts.. and we just have to love your spirit. I'm glad to hear your all doing ok.
