Just before the game started, I said to my wife, "Um, something tells me we're getting a little too overconfident here."
I mean, the only thing the reporters were talking about was by how far the Steelers would win. I was a little edgy going into the game, and a tad bit more so when the Giants returned the opening kickoff for a TD!
But, we'll take it! Should be quite a battle against Baltimore next weekend. And I'm hoping for a nice, unseasonably balmy day in Buffalo on January 2nd!

i watched that on my couch last night. i was so horribly disgusted at the last 5 minutes of that game. i think i could puke right now!
Yeah baby! My Dolphins wouldn't die on the Pats and it paid off! Even though they've only won 3 games this year, it's awesome that one of those wins was against the Pats.

No doubt, the Steelers are the team to beat this year. But, it might be just a touch early to be booking Superbowl tickets. Despite last night's little letdown, my heart, and support remain with the Patriots. I think they might have just a little game left in them...
FWIW, as a lifelong Pats fan, I can tell you that loosing to Miami is no more fun now than when it was when I was a kid and Miami was the the perenial team to beat. Full marks to those guys for playing the whole 60 minutes.
K-Rob - YES YES, I know that song - have a football on my mantle that plays it every time you drop kick the ball.... and believe me I've done that quite a lot this year. But last night was wonderful - I think the orange jersey's are good luck :)
