I'm in the same boat as many, haven't sold any prints yet. Looking forward to that first sale with great anticipation, its not so much the money, but the feeling your work is appreciated enough to be hung up on someones wall and appreciated as art. Congrats to those with recent sales!
I sold 3 and had $5.49 credit available, so I bought an 8x10 of one of my own shots so that I could see how well the color compared to what I see on my screen. It wasn't very close. Not sure what to do about that. And now I have just 89 cents in my account :)

You could set up a colour profile to make your photo on the screen match the print, then when you edit and look at photos you know exactly what they will look like :)

May have to- which is a scary thought. I like to saturate my photos just a tad, but the print from DPC was waaay saturated. That's gonna make for an interesting color profile ;)

I've got a Spyder and I calibrate at least once a month, so no problem there.
Can't remember the site, but I read a review comparing the monitor calibration systems, and they claimed spyder to be fairly inaccurate. Will try to find link for you.
where does it tell you if someone bought your prints? Which reminds me I should put a few more up. You can link other people to that page, no? How does a person buy the print if they don't have an account setup here -- can they just type in their credit card and address and it'll send it, or do they have to sign up for an account first? Thanks
It's all well and good calibrating your monitor, but if it's not calibrated to the specific printer you're using, the method is pointless if you want to know what your prints will look like :P
