I Have an Olympus stylus 400 (4mp). I know that it is just a point and shoot camera but I was wondering if any of you could give me a little feedback maybe or let me know if it is an alright camera just to start out with and then eventually get a better one...thanks

Any camera that produces a 1mp image or larger is just fine. :) Some of the best shots on this site were taken with point and shoot cameras.

4 Mpx is plenty. You'll find that as you participate here your photographic skills will grow quickly. Probably i a year or so you'll have a list of very specific reasons you want to upgrade, and confidence to choose the next camera. When you reach that point, you know it's time. Welcome to DPC, you'll love it here!

thanks guys. I haven't entered a challenge yet. I'm having like a two week long brain fart. Hopefully I can come up with something half-way decent.
