You can do this. You can only use one shot or "exposure" for the basis of your entry, but you may combine differently "developed" version sof the RAW file.

There is better clarity on exposure date, ownership, and what constitutes a single photo. Also a bit about any filters being allowed, with a caution that overuse will be likely be voted down (but no word on DQ possibilities).
As with last time, this change summary is not official. It is based on my reading of the two rulesets. In case of any errors or conflicts in this sumary, the official rules prevail.
* Clarified that 150 KB is 153,600 bytes
* Clarified that the challenge start and end dates are based on Current Server time, which corresponds to Eastern Standard/Daylight time. The Current Server Time can be found in the footer of every page on DPChallenge.
* Added that the submitter must be the photographer and must do any post-processing. Provides for exceptions with advance permission in unusual circumstances.
* Clarification to explicitly state that edits may be applied selectively. "Major elements" rule now explicitly applies to any tool, not just cloning/dodging/burning.
* Explicitly added that layers may be used, including masks and alternative blending modes.
* Clarified that filters are permitted.
* Clarified that not meeting the challenge is not grounds for disqualification.
* Clarified that a user must vote on at least 20% of the entries in a challenge to have his or her votes count.
* Clarified that in case of a proof request an email will be sent to the address on file, and added that notification will also appear on the front page of the site when logged in.
* Clarified that proof must be submitted within 48 hours of a request.
