I was thinking that it might be a good idea to issue paid up members with an Id card proving membership, something like a clip on card with relevant info. The cost should obviously be carried by the member who should have the choice if he requires one or not. As I see it, it will market our community and at the same time perhaps open up doors more easily. Just a thought.
I would think that your work would speak better for you (when opening doors) than an ID card from a website would. Although it might be kind of fun and silly to have member trading cards for when there are meet-ups.
I'm sure you can make one and have it laminated for less than what one would cost that is sold to you by DPC. Both would be most effectivly used for opening doors if slipped between the door and jamb.
