Once again, I find myself with a few days in Winter to trek to some interesting locale with camera in hand. This time, my free days are right around New Year's Day: a couple of days before up to about the 8th of Jan.
Anyone interested in meeting? My preference is for some place warm, but I'm also very exited to head to colder climes; my snowshoes are in good condition, and I know how to dress warm!

Warm:
-Death Valley in California
-Southern Utah somewhere
-The Grand Canyon
-Valley of Fire
Cold:
-Yellowstone National Park (amazing in Winter)
-Grand Teton National Park

I would love to run around Yellowstone or the Tetons, not to mention even around Southern Utah. By the time I would drive to one of them I would have to turn around and come back. I think I may cry. (C;
UNLESS I WIN THE POWERBALL! Hmmmm..(running to get tickets now!)
Clubjuggle will be visiting me in Phoenix around that time (Jan. 1 through Jan, 8) and we are planning some outings during that time. High on his list are the Grand Canyon, Momument Valley abd Sedona. Maybe we can meet up for some photo fun.
David... having seen your work, your offer sounds too good to pass up.
I haven't been to Yellowstone since I was about 4 years old. I'd love to go back and get some pictures of the geysers erupting. Especially in the cold with steam rising.
