Correct, but Olympus is thinking not for long. the 4/3 proposal is to set the dSLRs apart from their film counterparts. They want all manufactures to abide by the 4/3 standard so lenses could be interchanged not just between bodies of the same manufacturer, but between all manufacturers. This is a pretty gutsy move by Olympus. As Morgan said, they're definitely not the top dog around town. It'll be interesting to see if others follow suit.
It's good because you would no longer be locked into one company by buying their lenses. But at the same time where are all the people that have a stock pile of great lenses already going to go?
