This morning about 9:00 we started smelling smoke. But you know its that time of the year and people are using wood burners so no one really thought a whole lot about it. Around 10:30 my one girl friend stops by and mentions that the rescue mission is on fire which is about a mile from my house.
Ok, that's it thats all I needed to know. I grabbed my bag and off I went with an 8 year old hanging on to my bag. He knows the drill. Mom's going out to take photos of something happening nearby and you hang on to the bag and keep up with Mom.
Anyhow it was almost 11am when I reached the scene of the fire and the firefighters were just dousing hot spots on a fire that was called in about 8:30am. I would have loved to have had photos of the flames but I was just to late for that but I did get a few interesting photos.
I uploaded them to webshots...not my favorite of places but I put them there cause several people where asking me to see the photos this afternoon and I put them somewhere anyone could find them...lol
