Thank you all for your votes that allowed me to be awarded the Blue Ribbon in the "Square Crop" challenge. To be honest, I feel very badly about intruding on your competition. The points should go to those in the DPL challenge contest. For reasons that I explained to the SC I chose not to be on a team this year. I entered a few of the DPL challenges unthinkingly afterwards realizing that if I was awarded points it would be taking away from your competition. I routinely enter as many challenges as I can to support the website and for the fun of it! Having thought about it I wanted to apologize. I already have a few entries being voted on and one in waiting. I don't think any of them will be in the top ten. I am sorry for this lapse of judgement and will not intrude on any of the other future DPL challenges. I look forward to watching and rooting for you all in the DPL!!

Dear Larry, This is DPC family here and all are welcome to play. DPL is not mandatory and the competition goes on regardless of who ultimately scores best in any given challenge. There is nothing at all to feel sorry about. Please continue to enter as usual. We need you!
I'm in the DPL and I finished second next to you - the way I see it is that the DPL thing is just another layer on top of everything. Those of us competing in DPL are simply competing amongst ourselves so the place we win is in fact irrelevant, only thing that matters is we beat our fellow DPL opponents :)
Great photography like yours inspires us to do better, which of course is a great thing so please keep at it and like glad2badad said, we'll beat you on the next one!
