I just got an email notification that a response had been posted to our team thread. Because they don't contain the poster's message, I usually don't read the notifications (but I'm glad to get them); instead I go to the team thread. This time I read the entire message: "Hello Nikki,

TeamMember has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled "DPL 2026 - Team IN-VALIDs Private Discussion" in the League Private Threads section of the DPChallenge Forums.

Our team's thread is very slow - only a couple of us are checking in and commenting regularly; a couple of others have come in less often and some have virtually never visited. Perhaps this policy is the reason why. If you ignore even one notification, you get no more - which may mean members assume there's no activity.

This may not be the appropriate place for this post/question, but I'm wondering about other teams' experience.

Our team is pretty slow, too. I'm used to prior years which were very active. I wonder if the difference is that the teams were assigned instead of forming themselves? I like all of our team very much but we are short a team player and that also slows down the conversations.

As the submission deadline for the first DPL 2026 challenges approaches tonight, this is a good time to remind everyone that half the fun of DPL comes from discussing possible submissions with your teammates: weighing the strengths of different images, considering alternatives, and suggesting improvements.

That is often where eyes and minds open up, and where real learning happens.

Please use your team thread for these discussions. It was recently improved to make image sharing easier and more convenient.

I need help following League Play so far.

Went to "League" tab > "Overview" and see "Round 2" and "Round 3". "Round 1" is nowhere to be seen - and, though entries are in for the second challenge of it, voting isn't even over in Unusual Perspective.

I can't remember what team we were up against in Round 1. Help?! What am I missing? I'm sure it's something so obvious I'll be embarrassed to have asked, but there it is.

(Just thought to look back at my own team's private thread and one of our members mentioned the name of our Round 1 opponents, so that part of my question has been answered.)

I know it's clunky but if you go to Scheduled Matches you can click on Round 1. Here is the URL
