This plane flew into Stephenville International Airport yesterday. At the time I saw military personnel getting off the plane. Looks like a transport type plane - maybe people coming home from Iraq. There were also some fighters parked on the tarmack. Incidentally, Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador was an American Airforce Base until it's decommissioning in 1966. Another interesting fact is that it has one of the longest runways on the eastern seaboard and is an alternate landing site for the space shuttle. It also played an important role during 9-11, when planes were re-routed here (along with St. John's and Gander, NL).
