My CF fast card for my 2DxMKII is not reading. Not sure why, so I purchased another one and formatted it (I tried doing this with the original also) but still not reading. It obviously has nothing to do with a corrupted card so what else could it be?

do you mean 5D mkII ..

edit to say .. I should have looked at the cameras you have on your profile page before replying .. ;)

If you can still review the photos on the camera, then it likely is not the card, so that is test #1. If card works in camera, try transferring via USB from the camera, and then proceed to figure out if you have a problem with the card reader you are using (assuing you are using a card reader).

Yes I can view the photos, but that’s because they’re on the 2nd card which is in the camera. But I’ll try a new card reader tomorrow.
