The Legend can upload and download info, store maps (topo and street), points of interest (restauraunts, hotels, hiway exits,more). New it is about $169 w/ the serial cable. works very well.
You can use the Garmin software ($116) which lets you put maps into the unit, or just for uploading and downloading there are several apps avaialable on the web, some free some cheap. GSAK is the best and costs $20 but has a trial period. |
