I have three entries in "one of those contests" - you know the ones where you have to solicit votes and no one really cares about anything else?
I'm trying to get to 100 votes on each of these entries. Good thing is you can only vote once PER ENTRY - so you can vote three times but then you're done (unless you use a different IP address because I think that's how they track votes). There may be other DPC members in the contest, but you can vote on up to 25 entries, so you should have room for them, too, should they ask.
Anyway, if you're so inclined, I'd appreciate the support.

I don't want the shirt - it's not one of my own design but rather one with the px logo on it intended to advertise the site. It's not blatant or anything, I just don't need it. However, we have a local group that does absolutely wonderful work helping people on the streets here; their primary goal is helping them transition off the streets into apartments and they work closely with other groups that help people get back into the work force or on their feet after struggles. Anyway, they are an all-volunteer group with only the most essential overhead. So my intention is to "earn" and order three adult sweatshirts and have them drop shipped to the organization.
Least of My Brethren is the group - follow their FB page for a while if you are feeling discouraged; their grassroots support is amazing and heartening.
Thanks. I do like the idea of being able to donate three brand-new sweatshirts that I know will be welcome and used. I mostly shared the goal, information, and FB link because the group is truly amazing.

That is a very excellent cause, I’m all for people getting off the streets and into working.
By the way I didn’t know you were from Omaha, I had a friend from Perth that moved over there, mainly to marry someone.

Just to clarify, Jane. "Winning" is a matter of definition here. There two different kinds of prizes, the first of which are those that anyone and everyone who enters and drums up enough votes can "win" - free shirts and free canvases.
I have the requisite 25 votes per entry on all there so I'm good for three shirts. The free canvas of the artist's choice kicks in at 250 votes - I have no hope nor intention of reaching that level.
The other prize is eligibility for a billboard. That requires 100 votes. Every entry that solicits 100 votes by the end of August is eligible . . . the 20 winning images will be selected by judges within the company. Obviously I can't influence the final billboard picks . . . but I do think it would be fun to know one or more of my entries was eligible for consideration. So that's what I'm trying for now.
You can vote on all three entries . . . and once you've done that, you are done; this IS a solicit votes contest but it is NOT a "vote-every-24-hours" contest" :) I'd really like to get to 100 on each of these - votes end August 31.
