I think in this case the non use of caps is perfectly fine. I particularly like the use of periods between thoughts....I sometimes do this myself....however I like to use the same quanity before and after.
You have conveyed your message very well and made good use of negetive space, without taking up too much space as well. I will score a 10 here, even though a mind is a terrible thing to waste. I hope you find it.
