I have an ipad pro (around 2017 version) which I use when travelling for editing images. Typically I'm using the ipad when I'm on the bus/train moving from place to place as it's easier to work with than the laptop. It's certainly not my primary editing tool, but just for a quick review. I upload the images from my sd card to the ipad and then use the native photos app for a basic review. I use the favourites option in Photos to identify those images I would like to process further then I use Snapseed to do any additional editing. I'm not a fan of LR so don't typically use it. I hasten to add, I do only use the ipad when I want to share something on social media, or to enter a DPC challenge during my time away. I do any proper edits on my desktop when I return home or back at the hotel on the laptop. I always travel with my laptop on a longer trip.
