Does anyone have any ideas why my images are soft when uploading to DPC? They are crisp on export from PS or LR, and look good when I view them through Preview, but the moment they hit DPC they degrade horribly. I had thought it was because I was struggling to get them down to 700kb, but this one is a mono, and saving at 100% at 560kb, so that isn't the problem. Any ideas?

Mine don't look great either after uploading. My guess is that is the monitor + application + web browser combination. I edit my pics on retina display computers (Mac) and I guess it somehow optimises the view for PS and LR and Preview, while on browsers may not be the case. I may be wrong.

You may have hit the nail on the head with this observation, although it isn’t something I have been aware of until my return to DPC this year. I’m printing fine (although don’t print much), but do need to get this cracked for club competitions, which will all be digital projections this season.
And a super dumb question: You're not zooming in on the browser, are you? Sometimes I forget that I've zoomed in on my browser a little to make the text more readable, and then the photos look awful.
Have you tried looking at it in a different browser? (chrome vs safari vs firefox, etc.?)
Last thought -- do you have your photoshop background set to the same grey as DPC? I believe the default is a darker grey and some photos (most, actually) look soooooo much better on the dark than on the light. When I was using the default I hated how they looked on DPC.
