The former Blue Ribbon image in the "S-Curve V" challenge has been disqualified. The photographer removed some trees from the upper left of the image (which is fine) but in the process of removing them in LR generated the snowdrift "artifacts". We're pretty liberal about cloning out stuff, but you have to replace it with a simple continuation of the area surrounding the removed object(s). In this case, the new "snowdrift" itself became an s-curve feature that significantly enhanced both the composition of the image AND its relevance to the challenge topic, and this was particularly troublesome.
