For the first time in years, I'm remembering to update my camera's automatic copyright metadata (applied to each image when taken) to have the correct year starting today. Maybe someday cameras will handle that automatically. I don't follow every bit of new technology, so maybe some already do. Anyway, thought others might want a reminder to wade through the menus to do this timely (so to speak).
Next task will be to update the templates in Photo Mechanic and Lightroom that apply copyright info to iPhone and iPad images when they are added to the image library. Tedious, but easier than cleaning up wrong information weeks or months later. Don't ask me how I know that.
