Anyone out there in the Chicago/NW Indiana (in the "Region")? I need someone to bounce ideas off of, compare notes/photos with...and tell me I'm full of it or am a genius!

Any takers?

In Champaign/Urabana area of Illinois, further south than your looking for.

Good to see someone from the region here. I was born and raised in Miller, and I went to IU Bloomington for college. But I left to go to graduate school in 1976, and never moved back, though I still have family there.

Lots of us here. We had in fact a photo safari around Chicago last summer. Perhaps we should do it again. Dave? Chris? Anyone?

I'm in Gurnee, IL (near the WI border) but I'd be interested in getting together for a photo safari in Chitown.

T-day weekend is bad for me, because of the family functions. Other than the holidays, I should be pretty wide open. I have a crap load of vacations days to use up before the end of the year, so I'm ready.

Dave?, Ken?, Kosta? What's your schedules look like? Anybody else?

Like Chris, I've also got a lot of vacation time. How about the first or second week in December? If we're lucky, the temperature won't be terribly cold and our cameras won't freeze up from being in the Windy City. What do the rest of you think?

I do Thanksgiving in St Louis with my family and we'll be gone Dec 17-26 for a winter vacation. If the weekend you all decide on is something other than these dates, I'm up for it!

That'd work for me, since it's right here, but it would be rather boring for the out-of-towners.

This summers GTG in Chicago was a blast, besides the rain and folks getting sick. :-/
