I was adding favorite photos and saw where I can look at my Statistical favorites. That is too cool! I had no idea you could do that. ANyway, I was wondering who is your statiscally favorite photographer? It can be quite interesting to see. Mine is ambaker.
I don't know how significant the statistical favourites are if they only have a few votes. My top photographer is kosmikkreeper, but I've only voted on 3 of his photos. My top photographer with more than 10 votes is Konador.
My statistical favorites that have more than 10 votes are KarenB, magnetic9999, gordon, and Konador. Konador has 19 votes, which is more than anyone else, so he's way up there on the list of stat. favs. Congrats guys!

Carsten is also way up on my list and jmstzler isn't even on it (sorry). I guess this is why Ben and Jerry's can make so many ice cream flavors and the only one worth buying is Cherry Garcia.
This 'list' goes a very long way towards determining what types and styles of photography you really like. People who are at the top of your list probably are in better touch with your own tastes. I think this list is very useful to me, but I don't give the entries on it a lot of thought until after they have received at least 10 or so votes from me.

I think I know why....
I often add photographers and photos to my favorites list simply because I like the photo. My 'stat fav' list doesn't always correspond with my own favorite photos because I may give a great photo a lower score because I don't think it met the challenge well or something along those lines. I have seen phenomenal photos on this site that I didn't believe met the challenge... I don't score them higher than a 5 but I'll add them to my favs list if I like the photograph in general...
Looking closely I have only voted on an ambaker photo three times. The top photographer I have is aussie. I'm not surprised she has taken some really nice photos lately. I'm not sure what my own style is yet so I have noticed a good diversity amoung my favorite photos and statiscally favorite photographers. This is a cool feature that I'll probably check once a week once the results are in.
I like this a lot - it is pretty interesting, though the statistical favourite photograph isn't so interesting, as you only give one vote on each picture, though it would be interesting on that page to show what you voted vs where it ended up in that challenge if that could be added onto the list ? Then you could see how out of wack your voting is to the rest - so have Your vote, the final score and final place on that page ?
I'd also love to be able to see other people's statistical favourites :) maybe just for the photographer, not the photographs, so we can't go and rag on someone for the score they gave us, but we can see how they match up to our own favourite photographers ? make sense ?
