I'm familiar with the show though haven't watched it in a few years. Basically documentaries, not TV dramas, on how crimes were solved. There must be a few archived episodes kicking around on youtube. I'm sure there are equivalent crime docs in your respective countries too, just go with that format (unless maybe Forensic Files uses something notable like Hitchcockian lighting ;-)
