Hello everyone.

So I want to learn a little about 360 degree product photography. (You know, the type that you can click and drag a product to rotate the item). I looked up a way to make the studio for this (this is the easy part) but was wondering if anyone knew of a program that would make editing this easier? Or even possible for that matter.

A link or two would help? Some explanation if it can be done in Photoshop would be good too?

I'm just trying to see if I can get my hands on a project at work before anyone else. ;)

The set up seems to be easy... Essentially a large "lazy susan" will do the trick with some markers that indicate every 10 degree turn. The big thing I don't wait is GIF to just be automatically moving on the screen. I want the type that I can click and drag to get the view I want. I keep finding the animated GIF version of what I want.

Maybe this will be way over my head as I just found a youtube tutorial that say's I'll need to grab an HTML code to be able to put it on the site? I'll keep trying to find something that makes sense to me. Thank you for the links. The second link you posted had an interesting idea of "outsourcing" the editing process. I'm wondering if this is cheap? I'll look into it.

I think once you have created the photos at the various increments in rotation, you then need a creator application and viewer to turn these into the 3D Interactive element. Seems to be various commercial tools that can do this.
