ANYTHING made of rock counts, people. Are you asking if other members will disapprove of too-large rocks? Are you trying to find out where the line will be drawn by the voters? Who the heck knows? As far as I'm concerned, if the picture feels like it's ABOUT rock (or stone, or pebbles) then I'm happy with that. Personally, I wouldn't be inclined to think a picture of, say, the Sierra Nevada from the Eastern desert was really "about" rocks, but I wouldn't be a total harda** about it either...

No, no, I wasn't chiding anyone :-) I even gave my own thinking, as a voter, on the subject. I was only pointing out that I long ago stopped trying to figure out what they're gonna like anyway :-) My current red ribbon, for example, came as a complete surprise to me. I mean, I knew it was gonna ribbon as the voting went on, but I didn't expect that much of a score when I entered. My morning light shot, on the other hand, I thought was gonna do really well, and it didn't crack the front page.
