The intervalometer function in particular looks like it is a winner; automating the transition from day to night smoothly is one of the banes of long timelapse. Otherwise, not too much there for me. Not really interested in bracketing or focus stacking functions, got that covered.

There's no physical way around using NDs when you want very long exposures in daylight. Well, if you want a 1s exposure simulation when your minimum shutter speed is 1/100, you *could* stack 100 shots, and deal with the fact that smooth motion will be pretty chopped up by the inter-shot delay. Or you could slap on the ND and get a better result in a single shot. I'll take the ND please. |
