IMO, the rose is a stronger image. I gave your entry a 6 - probably would have dished out a 4 for the tower. With the rose the 'ugly to lovely' subject is quite evident. With the tower it's more about the sky being beautiful than the tower being transformed by the method of photographing it. FWIW, I made the same choice (to let the sky dominate, making it more the subject, than the trees), with my entry. |
