The best you can do is put them all in a folder, out of the way. Title it Old Challenges (or something) so that people who are looking through your portfolio will know what to expect if they click it open.

And you can actually hide that folder. That way the entries can still be seen IF someone happens to open that particular challenge and look through it (the important reasoning behind our being unable to delete, I think), but no one can really look at it. My hidden folder is chock full!! It's called "Hidden Challenge Entries" and it's 4th across the top row in my Portfolio when I'm signed in. I've never actually looked to see whether it can be seen when I'm not, but I have always assumed so LOL

Nikki, the first four collections I can see across the top in your portfolio are "Animals", "Black and white", Buildings, and "Flowers" So I guess the "Hidden Challenge Entries" folder IS hidden.
Challenge entries cannot ever be deleted, even if you leave the site. It's in the TOS, and it's because the challenge archives would be full of holes if everyone who left deleted their images.
