It seems people only see communication on cell phones and other electronic gadgets! I portrayed a cummunication media used for centuries and the only comment I got is about "it doesn't meet..."
I was hoping (and still am) to score about 5.7 for this one. Come to think of it, I was expecting a 5.6 for my Parts challenge as well, but I didn't quite reach that either...
Edit: Blackdog, there's a spot for you to be able to check "My Scores" under My Home - My Preferences. This allows you to see the score on your home page.
OK, it was right there all the time, as usual I was looking for it to be more complicated than it actually is. The av. is 4.6, could be worse I suppose.
Not this early...If your shot is average (about 4.5 - 5.5) and nothing is too unusual about it, it could take over 100 votes before you get your first comment...as was the case in my last two entries.
I chose something that I knew people wouldn't like/think matched the challenge (though *I* do) just to see how low of a score I could manage by pushing the theme a bit. It's not a very interesting photo at all, and took about five minutes in total to take and edit.
Pffff.
I was hoping for last place, but all it's going to do is drag my average down. The depressing thing is that I've done worse with photos I really liked, and chances are that even by the end of it, when my score should be much lower, I will still have worse scores to my credit. My Defining Features entry, which I think is one of my best, is not that much higher.. hovering now at 5.5 and poised to fall more.
Very disappointed. I guess I really, really don't know what people on here like or dislike.
