J, I always scan my Comments Received count on my profile page. If the number changes (and it doesn't very often), I know I've gotten a new comment.

At that rate, I won't have to visit the site at all anymore! No thanks. I need a reason to check in when I'm not actively participating, and I get enough e-mail already. Good to know about though.

I just press the number to see the images and their comments, how am I supposed to remember what number it was at last, even if mine also does not change often..

I guess I'm wired differently. Numbers stick to me like flies on rice. Or something like that.
